Thomas designs digital experiences people love—and keep coming back to. With more than two decades in UX, he’s learned that design isn’t decoration, but orchestration: aligning strategy, creativity, and technology into experiences that actually work. By day, he leads UX teams at Merkle DACH in St. Gallen.

Thomas is the founder of UXCamp Switzerland. After attending UXCamp Europe, he knew immediately that Switzerland needed its own UX unconference—and he’s proud of what the community has built since. He’s also a local lead of IxDA Zurich, actively shaping dialogue and exchange within the Swiss UX scene.

As main host of Interaction 23, Thomas didn’t just appear on stage—he shaped the entire experience for thousands of designers worldwide, from the opening hello to the final applause. And this wasn’t his first act: he was already helping orchestrate things behind the scenes in 2022, long before stepping into the spotlight.
